Cuyamaca State Park

Numerous species this morning.  There seemed to be an inordinate number of Phainopepla in and around Stonewall mine.  I would see 5-7 on a shrub at one time. Too, there were 19 Turkey Vultures roosting on a dead tree sunning themselves.  On the other side of that coin, I only saw one Mt. Chickadee.
Highlights were:
California Quail
Wilson Warbler (3)
Black-throated Gray Warbler (10
Western Tanager (1)
Black-headed Grosbeak
Band-tailed Pigeon
White-breasted Nuthatch (1)
Lark Sparrow (5)
California Thrasher
