Eastern Kingbird on the desert
This morning I found an Eastern Kingbird at Agua Caliente County Park. It was in the SE part of the campground where it is feeding on palm tree fruit. Pleasant morning there with 32 species seen.
I also visited the Borrego Springs WTP though it was hot by the time I got there. Nothing too exciting. First Bell/Sagebrush Sparrows of the season. The north pond has some water, the south pond is dry and gone to seed. Lots of potential for great birds.
A bird does not sing because it has an answer. It sings because it has a song.
