White-throated Sparrow
Hi everyone,
Last weekend an out-of-town birder found and photographed a White-throated Sparrow in residential Point Loma, and it reappeared there again this morning around 6:30 A.M. It was with a small flock of White-crowned Sparrows that were flying across both the east and west sides of Silver Gate Avenue between Warner and Dupont St. It was on the ground, in the trees and visiting backyards and a backyard feeders. The flock was constantly on the move, the bird favored heavy cover and it was dark and cloudy this morning, so unfortunately photo opportunities were extremely limited. But I did get an i.d. shot!
