Yellow-headed Blackbird at SD River Flood Control Channel
On July 17,2020, just about 8:30, a first-year or female type Yellow-headed Blackbird was frequenting the tallest grasses on the sandbar/island just north of the Robb Field tennis courts. For some reason the peep feeding on the mudflat were particularly sensitive to the blackbird, flushing every time the blackbird repositioned.
Also present are 4 adult Common Terns.
